England’s Deaf Team clinched a sensational four-wicket victory over long-standing rivals Australia to earn themselves a place in the Final of the Deaf Cricket World Cup.
Having scraped into the semi-finals, England were expected to have their work cut clinching what would turn out to be a momentous win.
The Aussies batted first and posted a commanding 153 all out off 44 overs.
England’s batsmen needed to dig deep and avoid losing early wickets, a task they fulfilled with aplomb to post 155 for six by the close.
England now take on tournament favourites India in the Final on Sunday.
