Honours were even between England and Wales after two disabled internationals at Newport CC in Gwent on Sunday.
The hosts took the honours in the Zodiac category for players with high levels of disability while England won the Zenith category for those with medium levels. Both games were 25 overs-a-side.
There was also an introductory match for new and players and women. Special guests included the Lord Mayor of Newport.
In the Zenith match England put Wales in to bat and they made 131 for seven with Ashleigh Harris making 50 not out off 35 balls and Robert Halford 41.
The visitors struggled in their reply and could only make 71 for three with Steven Bailey taking 2-18.
England also invited Wales to bat in the Zenith match. Alan Woodman’s 4-16 and Shaun Rigby’s 2-7 restricted the hosts to 59 all out in 20.3 overs.
England took the same number of legitimate deliveries to pass the target. Scott Winton top-scored with 20 while captain Alex Dudderidge claimed 3-21.
