1. What are the NatWest Inter Cricket Awards?
The NatWest Inter Cricket Awards are replacing the existing ECB Proficiency Awards. The Awards focus on game based evaluations, and are designed for young players as they move from a soft to hard ball version of the sport.
2. Who are the Awards for?
Young players don’t have to be a specific age to take these Awards however it roughly targeted at the 8-13 age group dependent on their development.

4. How long does it take?
There is no specific length for the course, however we recommend a minimum of 6 one and a half hour sessions in order to see sufficient progression in the young players.

The Awards will be delivered using all pre-existing ECB coaching programmes and online session plans.

8. Who can deliver the Awards?
The NatWest Inter Cricket Awards will initially be targeting Focus Club Community Clusters and Focus Club Community School Clusters and can be run by qualified Coaching Assistants under Coach supervision. However, the Awards can be run by any Club or School with the appropriate coaching instruction.

3. How do I get involved with the scheme?
Cricket Development Managers to find the club nearest to you or speak to your coach / teacher and ask them about the NatWest Inter Cricket Awards.
4. How do I monitor my progress?
Every young player who takes part in the NatWest Inter Cricket Awards scheme will receive a progression chart at their first session and upon achieving each Level of the Awards will receive a wrist band, certificate and stickers.

6. Is it expensive?
To purchase your certificate and wristband once you have completed any level of the Awards scheme is only £2.50.
