The game is booming in Thornbury in Gloucestershire as over 50 cub scouts enjoyed an evening of Kwik cricket.
The boys and girls were split into four teams and everyone took turns at batting and bowling under-arm.
The emphasis was on having fun and at the end of the tournament, which the team playing as England won, the girls received a miniature cricket bat signed by the England Women's team and all the boys were given posters and player cards.
Nine of the cubs have since joined the junior section of Thornbury cricket club and Crossways junior school is also running an after-school Kwik cricket club.
