The England and Wales Cricket Board is now a National Access Organization for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Millennium Volunteers.
This means that any activities clubs offer to young people aged between 14 and 25 can be accredited to the Award Programme.

Why not take advantage of this great way to get more young people participating in the Award Programme volunteering at your club.
In order to run this scheme at your club there needs to be someone responsible for its coordination.
This, obviously, entails training which includes information regarding The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in general and specifics regarding mentoring and support. The training should take no longer than a couple of hours.
Contact the relevant number for your region - ask for the person that deals with access organisations, as job titles vary in each region. You can then arrange the training.
