The full nominations for the 2005 OSCAs in the Local Community Links category are detailed below:
David Thomas (Norfolk)
David set up and currently organises Swardeston's schools coaching initiative.
It has grown to provide summer coaching in 2005 to 12 junior schools and one senior school. Using fully-qualified and CRB-checked coaches the scheme provides cricket for more than 300 youngsters.
Neil Edwards (Lancashire)
Neil has many roles including secretary of the League Cricket Conference and Chairman of Sefton Sports Council. He is the main volunteer for his club, Formby CC, obtaining Clubmark status, which was set to be confirmed by the end of the 2005 season.
Neil has worked tirelessly to create links with all the primary schools in Formby and delivered coaching as a result of obtaining funding.
David Cumming (Berkshire)
David has been involved with the youth section of Henley CC for three years. In the last 12 months he has worked tirelessly in obtaining Clubmark status for the club.
He organises after-school cricket coaching sessions both in school and at Henley CC and manages a girls' cricket club under the direction of Claire Taylor and Isa Guha of England.
The OSCAs took place at Lord's in the Nursery Pavilion on Monday October 3
