Every club should check its insurance cover at least once a year. There are several options and policies to consider, some of which are required by law while others are optional.
The ECB insurer is Marshall Wooldrige and those clubs that are affiliated to the ECB will be able to benefit from basic cover if they request it.
This will cover volunteers against liability for injury or damage arising in connection with club activities if due to the negligence of the club.
Our insurers do, however, recommend that all clubs take out additional Liability Cover. For further information contact the Marshall Wooldrige via Freephone line on 0800 289301.
See our ExtraCover Insurance for Cricket Clubs section for more contact details for all the insurance options available generally for clubs.
