Vodafone is now in the 10th year of its partnership with the England Cricket Team and while both us and the team have evolved significantly during that time, our focus has always remained on two fundamental elements – the team itself and cricket fans in this country.

The team will be on the road for the best part of nine months over the next year and while that might sound like fun, the reality is, it means managing all your personal and business affairs while living out of a suitcase.

Through the sponsorship, the team and management are supplied with the very latest mobile products and services to make the most of their time and ease the burden of their demanding schedule.

Players can stay in touch with friends and family, keep up to date with all the news as well as manage their business interests via a range of business and email products including BlackBerrys, 3G data cards and Palm Treo handheld devices.

And it doesn’t stop with the Team. This year saw the launch of Sky Mobile TV allowing fans to catch all the action from down under this winter with live coverage of the matches together with all the highlights available on Sky Sports.

If that’s not enough, Sky Sports News will be available to bring all fans up to speed with all the latest news and reviews throughout the day.
Bringing live cricket direct to fans’ mobiles is just the latest in a series of developments demonstrating our commitment to making cricket available to a greater number of fans in this country wherever they are and whenever they want.

We are proud of our association with the Team, what they have achieved since the partnership began and the spirit in which they have done it and wish them every success for the year ahead.
