Kent’s Danish seamer Amjad Khan has had his left knee put in a brace and could miss the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old injured the joint during last weekend's NatWest Pro40 defeat by Worcestershire.
Khan has taken 34 wickets in the County Championship so far this year and it is hoped that surgery can be avoided.
