England spinner Graeme Swann could play for Nottinghamshire against Hampshire in Division One of the LV County Championship a day after featuring for England.
Swann was in action in the final match of the NatWest Series against New Zealand at Lord’s today but has been made available for the Rose Bowl clash.
Notts, who are without centrally contracted pair Stuart Broad and Ryan Sidebottom, have no major injury concerns.
Australia batsman Adam Voges continues to fill in as overseas player while fellow countryman David Hussey is on international duty against West Indies.
Hampshire are set to be without England stand-in captain Kevin Pietersen but could have county skipper Dimitri Mascarenhas and Chris Tremlett available
Pietersen lead his adopted country for the first time today in the final match of the NatWest Series but Mascarenhas and Tremlett did not feature, leaving them fresh to face Notts.
Hants will be without all-rounder Kevin Latouf who has joined Warwickshire on a one-month loan.
