Former England seamer Martin Saggers has signed a one-year contract with Kent for the 2007 season.
This will be Saggers` ninth season at Canterbury after being troubled with injury during the 2006 season.
Saggers passed various tests, set by Kent coach Graham Ford, to prove his fitness before being offered a contract.
Saggers said: "I am very pleased to be able to continue at Kent.
"It was a tough season for me last year, having two separate foot injuries which kept me on the sidelines for most of the season.
"I have put in some long hours of training during the winter to get myself back to this point, and hope to continue the hard work and re-pay the faith that Kent have showed in me."
