England romped to a second 10-wicket win in the space of three days as they extended their faultless start to the Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia.
Having thumped Ireland in their opening Group D game on Sunday, England dispatched Bermuda in equally emphatic fashion at the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur.
They bowled the minnows out for just 55, and James Taylor and Billy Godleman barely had to break stride in wrapping up a victory which almost certainly secures their place in the quarter-finals.
Left-arm spinner Liam Dawson collected the man-of-the-match award for figures of 3-15, while Stuart Meaker and Steven Finn took 2-6 and 2-8 respectively.
James Harris, whose two wickets cost 22, was expensive by comparison, and Bermuda’s plight was highlighted by the fact only opener Christopher Douglas (21) reached double figures.
Taylor followed up his unbeaten 52 against Ireland by hitting 43 not out as England overhauled their paltry target in 10.4 overs.
He struck eight fours as he dominated another unbroken opening stand with Billy Godleman, who was unbeaten on eight when victory was sealed.
“It’s always good to see the team win consistently,” said England coach Andy Pick.
“Winning by 10 wickets really sends out a message that we’re more about getting the result than giving everyone on the team a game.
"It’s really up to us now to practice properly over the next two days."
England face Bangladesh, who beat Bermuda by 178 runs on Monday, in their final group game on Friday.
Australia, India and reigning champions Pakistan are also well placed to reach the last eight after maintaining their 100 per cent records in the competition.
Australia beat Nepal by 96 runs at University Sans Malaysia, India registered a six-wicket win over New Zealand at the Kinrara Oval, and New Zealand went down by 27 runs to Pakistan at Maktab Perguruan Temenggong Ibrahim in Johor.
