England Under-19 spin duo William Beer and Liam Dawson wasted no time in securing a crushing win in the first Test against New Zealand at Taunton.
Beer (6-53) and Dawson (4-39) shared all 10 wickets to secure victory by an innings and 130 runs after the tourists were forced to follow on yesterday.
Resuming on 102 for two this morning, Beer claimed the first three wickets today including Fraser Colson who top-scored with 42.
Dawson then got in on the act as New Zealand were all out for 148 in 82.2 overs of which the spinners bowled 34 each at a remarkable economy rate.
The teams move on to New Road for the final Test ahead of a five match one-day series.
