A 47 run loss to Hong Kong ensured the hosts took fifth place and England one place lower.
Earlier on Sunday England had gone down by seven wickets to Pakistan in their second match of the Bradman group.
England lost both their matches in the Bradman group after a reverse against India late on Saturday.
South Africa beat Pakistan by 12 runs to win the title and India got past West Indies in a thrilling finish to claim 3rd place.
