Northumberland will move to Benwell Hill CC to welcome Lincolnshire CCC for their second home fixture of the Championship season.
The visitors, fresh from a defeat in the quarter-finals of the MCCA knock-out competition at the hands of Northumberland’s previous opponents, Norfolk CCC, bring a strong side with them.
Northumberland, too, are very much near to full strength following a number of injury worries and welcome back Ian Patterson.
However captain Philip Nicholson is a concern and will see if he can make it through unscathed in his club’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle CC on Saturday before declaring his availability.
If not, Richard Coughtrie will continue in the side with Marc Symington taking on the role of acting captain.
Meanwhile, David Myers, who made an impressive debut in the last match, has done enough and retains his place.
Northumberland Team: Allan Worthy, Paul Muchall, David Myers, Bradley Parker, Ian Patterson, Marc Symington, Philip Nicholson (capt, w/k) Graham Bridge, David Rutherford, Matthew Muchall, Gary Stewart.
