The Lancashire Under-19 women’s team have been invited to take part in an Under-19 tournament in Cape Town, South Africa. The tour will run from March 20-30 and will involve six teams from around the world.
The girls, parents and coaches are currently in the process of looking for sponsorship for the trip and are also doing various fundraising activities.
The tour has already received substantial support off the Lancashire Cricket Charitable Youth Trust to the tune of £15,000.
